If you love green, you’ll appreciate this wheel-thrown pair of mugs. Emerald Green glaze flows down the body to a coppery bottom. Drips of blue at the rim add a subtle striping effect on the green. One mug has a handle while the other is curved in the middle and flared at the top to be easy in the hand. On white clay. 4” tall and 3-1/2” at the rim.
Ring holders are a tiny but mighty way to protect and corral your rings and earrings. Put a ring holder next to your bed, in the bathroom, at the kitchen sink - anywhere you need to take off your rings. This wheel-thrown ring holder features a creamy base of white River Birch clay onto which glazes of blue, maroon and tan have dripped. Striking. 4” in diameter, with a tallish prong, on white clay.
Three striking wheel-thrown bowls of brown hazelnut clay are glazed with Aurora Green, a mossy green semi-gloss with blooms of blue, white and yellow. All bowls are 3-3/4” tall, and the trio nests beautifully.

My POV
After a year of pottering, I found myself with lots of pots and less and less room to store them. Also, I sometimes get a sense that a certain pot seems to “belong” to someone. They might be celebrating, or grieving, or having a moment. Or maybe they just need to know someone is paying attention. So I started mailing out stealth pots along with a short note. It’s a ton of fun.
One friend called and said, “How did you know? I was feeling really low today and then your sweet pot arrived in the mail!” People send me photos of the piece in their home. I’ve received long letters and short texts expressing wonder and gratitude. The element of surprise, the delight in being “thought of”, and the pleasure of having something handmade are some kind of secret sauce. So now I’m on a mission to give people a little boost. I’m the lucky one, because there are dear people in my life who smile when they see that little pot.
